Women's Imaging at Nutley

Our Nutley site offers a full range of women's imaging services, including low dose digital and analog mammography, high resolution digital ultrasound, and ultra short bore high field strength breast and pelvic MRI. Breast biopsy procedures are also performed here when Ultrasound and MRI guidance is necessary.

DEXA scanning is available at all of our offices.

Women' Imaging at West Caldwell

Our West Caldwell site offers a full range of women's imaging services, including low dose digital and analog mammography, high resolution digital ultrasound, and ultra short bore high field strength breast and pelvic MRI.

All services available at our Nutley Women's Imaging Center are available at West Caldwell with the exception of Breast Biopsies.

Women's Imaging at Park Street

Our Park St. site offers a limited range of women's imaging services, including low dose digital and analog mammography and high resolution digital ultrasound.

Mammography

A mammogram is an x-ray procedure utilized in screening asymptomatic women for breast cancer and to evaluate symptomatic women (and men) who present with a lump, discomfort, or other symptom in the breast. A mammogram can show masses or cysts and can also show calcification in the breast. While many types of calcification in the breast are benign, some types of calcification are the earliest signs of cancer.

Early concerns about the radiation exposure from mammograms have greatly lessened with the advent of mammography equipment which exposes the breast to extremely low levels of radiation.

All of our sites are fully accredited and licensed, and we only utilize qualified registered mammographers.
