CT is complementary to MRI in evaluating various conditions of the eye and orbits. CT is particularly useful in evaluating orbital trauma, as well as complicated infections of the eyes and orbits, particularly in cases of advanced sinusitis. It is also used to evaluate known or suspected orbital masses, and unexplained protrusion or bulging of the eyes.·      Orbits: CT is complementary to MRI in evaluating various conditions of the eye and orbits.
