Community

Montclair Radiology is owned by your neighbors - our radiologists. So it makes sense that we are actively involved in our local New Jersey community because we live here, work here, and have a vested interest in the community. We participate in many local events and support local businesses. If you would like us to be involved in an upcoming event, contact Diane@montrad.net. We'd love to help out if it's a good fit!

Montclair Radiology visited residents of Montclair at Edgemont Park as part of a healthy bone series to discuss DEXA, the bone densitometry test. On hand was Montclair Radiology Doctor Anuj Tolia, who explained why this test is important as well as risk factors everyone should know about. August 1, 2017 is National Night Out across the U.S. In honor of our hard working police officers, Montclair Radiology launched a new program with the Fairfield Police. We are offering free Calcium Scoring (Cardiac) scans to all the Fairfield police officers. These scans  are non-invasive with low radiation and can help prevent heart attacks by alerting patients to cardiac issues.

This new program is planned for other towns and their police officers, since about 50 percent of law enforcement officers have a cardiac event/heart attack within 5 years of retirement.
