Kenneth L. Jewel, M.D.

Kenneth L. Jewel, M.D.Kenneth L. Jewel received his BA Degree from New York University where he was elected to Beta Lambda Sigma, the Honor Society in Biology. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York at Buffalo and was elected to the James A. Gibson Anatomical Honor Society.

Dr. Jewel completed his Internship and Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the United States Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, New York.

Dr. Jewel completed a Fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology and Angiography at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Prior to joining Montclair Radiology, Dr. Jewel was Instructor in Radiology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Attending Radiologist at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Jewel is an active member of The Radiological Society of North America, The Radiological Society of New Jersey, The American College of Radiology and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

The Castle-Connolly Guide for the New York Metropolitan area chose Dr. Jewel "Top Doctor" in 2001 and 2003. In addition, the Consumers' Research Council of America selected Dr. Jewel as one of America's Top Radiologists in 2002 and 2003. Dr. Jewel was named one of New Jersey's "Top Doctors" in November 2006.

Dr. Jewel became a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology in 1973.
